I have so much blogging to get caught up on once again after our Summer of fun! So I thought I'd jump back in with a post full of all the bits and pieces that have fallen in between trips and guests and special days.
Here we go...
Basically any free day we squeeze in an hour or so at the pool! Love the look of pure JOY on Nolan's face here!
Rain or shine it's pool time! (As long as there's no lightening in the area!)
Heath's first water slide...
And he also learned to swim this summer!
He's getting better every day and really is under water more than he is above!
Mark and I celebrated our 11th anniversary with a night out. We had dinner at Bonefish Grill and went to see the movie "Jersey Boys".
Their Bang Bang Shrimp is to die for!
Isn't my husband a hottie! I'm one lucky girl!
The movie was great and I LOVED the music! Thanks Oma & Opa for watching the boys for us!
Lego Time!
Crazy pineapple loving fool!
It's wrestle mania around here 24-7!
Triple boy energy is just insane!
We love O'Brien park on Main Street in Parker!
We like it even better because Baskin Robbins is right across the street!
Nolan has lost 2 more teeth this summer! Since this pic there is even one more gone on the bottom.
We've spent a lot of time in our backyard this summer, playing baseball, and having fun with the hose!
We watched Cohen and Arie for a bit a couple of weeks ago. These two cuties set up all of these hats and then asked me to take their picture by them! Funny!
My brother and Laura drove through town at the end of June on their way to her family's cabin. We hung out for a few hours and had lunch with them. They asked all three boys to be ring bearers in their wedding! The boys are so excited!
They gave them these Lego Ring Bearers when they asked. Nolan now thinks that he should wear a top hat in their wedding! Ha!
Snooze!
Nolan attended a 2 week 1st Grade Summer Camp at Mammoth Heights. He had a great time and came home with this adorable piece of writing on the last day.
Pool time with the Leensvaart's!
Best buds born just 2 days apart!
So…this happened one day. Ha! So sweet.
Mark took the boys to see "How to Train Your Dragon 2" at the Southlands movie theater.
They love this theater's comfy, reclining seats!
We had a surprise a few weeks back when we found out our new little nephew had been born 7 weeks early!
We love you Ezra Kurt!
Cara, Barb, and I hosted a sprinkle for Jayne in celebration of her third little boy!
We had a yummy dinner, drank wine, opened presents, and talked…a lot! It was nice to surround Jayne with love and support as they walk through these few difficult weeks in the NICU.
The boys got a surprise package in the mail this week from Uncle T!
They were SUPER excited to show off their new Mario guys, Lego Mini Figures, and Daniel Tiger toys!
They sure are loved! Thanks Uncle T. for making their day!
We had a few rainy days this week so we killed time with an extra long and extra bubbly jacuzzi bath followed by a few hours of school shoe shopping! It was a successful trip and the boys are ready for school to start up with some cool new kicks!
Pool day with Oma & Opa!
Father-Son Dive Off!
Nolan declared Opa the winner because he made the biggest SPLASH!
And I guess you could say we had a little Father-Daughter Slide Off as well!
You can determine the winner…best form goes to….?
And finally, today we decided it was time to think about school a little bit! Nolan received a handwritten, personal note from his soon to be 1st Grade Teacher, Mr. G. So we decided to write him back today.
Nolan is super excited to have a male teacher. Mr. G. wears a cowboy hat, plays the guitar, and likes birds and rocks. He has also taught 1st Grade for 20 years. He sounds like a master teacher and a great fit for Nolan. We are praying hard for an excellent year of growth in every way!
And of course, Teacher-Mommy puts this little guy to work as well. He has 2 lower case letters left to learn! He just can't seem to remember f and r. So we are focusing on those letters this week!
And one of my favorite days of the year…SCHOOL SUPPLY SHOPPING DAY! We got some fun stuff and Nolan is looking forward to having a desk this year!
O.k. It's gonna be another week full of blogging. Hoping to get all caught up before school starts next week! We are counting down…7 more days of summer fun!

A few comments for this post:
1) I LOVE that you competed against dad on the water slide. He might win in the splash department, but you get the gold medal for style!
2) Could you and Mark be any better looking? Good grief!
3) Thanks for your help with the shower. Your cute touches always add so much.
4) Can't wait to join you at the pool tomorrow and see all of the new swimming achievements in person!
Love the overview of your very fun and busy summer! Enjoyed all the pictures!
