What an exciting year my family has had! Both my sister and my brother got engaged! And they will both be getting married within 5 weeks of each other this Fall! WE CAN NOT WAIT! We are looking forward to super fun weddings and lots of family fun! But most importantly we are looking forward to our family being complete. (Well, minus any more babies that may join along the way.) It is so nice to know that my sister and brother have both found amazing people who love them and support them. And it's an extra bonus that we just happen to those those people a lot too! Bob and Laura fit right in with our crazy family! We all text almost every day, which is so fun because it helps us feels connected despite the fact that we live in 3 different states. They are fun people! And it was so fun to celebrate these new forevers with two showers during our vacation!
My Aunt Lori hosted their double shower.
The shower was over 4th of July weekend…hence the red, white, and blue cake!
One area of gifts for Laura.
And another for Mal.
Chatting as the shower got started.
The beautiful brides!
My Mom and her new daughter-in-law!
Mallory with Bob's family.
Mallory's soon to be Mother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law drove up for the shower. And they were joined by some other family members who live in Michigan.
We played some fun games and had delicious food and the girls got some great gifts!
Thinking hard at a game!

LeeAnn and Aunt Lori were busy making the bow bouquets! They did a great job!

Mallory's Mother-in-Law gave her a seasonal gift basket. Decorative items to display/use for every holiday! Here she is showing off her 4th of July dish towels.
Laura registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and Williams-Sonoma.

Kendra, Grandma, Aunt Kathy, and Kristin
My Aunt Lori is Tyler's God Mother and she told a fun story about remembering how Tyler collected Pez Dispensers as a child. He would line them up in perfect rows. So she gave this Pez set to Laura as a fun remembrance of her nephew.
One of the pretty platters we got Mallory.
Mallory got a funny gift too! Frozen Smiles for the Ortho assistant!
Kristin and LeeAnn won these beautiful hanging baskets. They were called Wedding Bells…or something similar to that. I can't remember exactly, but I thought that was such a creative prize idea!
After all the gifts were opened we headed out to Aunt Lori's beautiful back yard to snap some family photos.
The girls in the fam!
Sisters!
Sister-in-Law Abby, Aunt, Mallory, 2 cousins, Mother-in-Law Sandy
Aunt Kathy, Laura, Mallory, Aunt Lori- the hostess with the mostess! She really thinks of everything when planning a shower!
Cousins! (L to R: Me, Meghan, Laura, Mallory, Kristin, Leah {hiding in the back}, LeeAnn, Allie {in the front}) Our cousin Kendra and her daughter Lauren had already left when we took these pics. We are so excited to have a blast together at the wedding receptions! And we are so thankful that we will get to see each other so many times this year!
My Aunt Lori has 3 boys. Just like me. So it is so fun to watch her with her "daughters" now. I look forward to having these relationships someday!
