A night out with the Rockies

While my Mom was in town Mark's Mom and Aunt Sue gave us their Rockies tickets so that we could take the boys to a game. The weather was perfect! We headed downtown when Mark got home from work, picked up one extra ticket, and entered the park.
Waiting in line for a ticket...

My Buddy!

His smile is the sweetest!

We were in direct sun for about the first hour of the game. We were all hot and sweaty! Brooks gave the play by play, "ball, go, hit, drop, catch, go, ball, hit, game, SCORE!" Repeat.

We had great seats! And the boys had fun!

Of course we had to get Rocky Dogs!

We decided to walk around for a bit to check out some different parts of the park.

The boys played on the playground for awhile.

And then we camped out in the Rock Pile to finish the game. This is the boys' favorite place to watch! They love being right under the huge score board.
We actually saw some great plays and a few home runs which were fun. But the Rockies were losing so the crowd cleared out. Which was good for us because we could spread out!

The boys put their Rally Caps on, but the Rockies just couldn't pull out the win!

Despite the loss, it was a fun night out and another great memory made with Grandma!
