Wrapping up Kindergarten...

I love teaching in the afternoons, because it allowed me to do so many fun things with Nolan's Kindergarten class in the mornings. This post is full Nolan's end of the year activities...

Field Day! He did great and had so much fun at all of the stations!
This was a numbered ball relay.

This was a partner water relay.

And Nolan's favorite event of the day...
The Tug of War!

He LOVED that the boys beat the girls on this round!

Dizzy Bat Relay! He got really dizzy! Ha!

Getting ready for a ball keep away game!

They had to crab walk or bear crawl. He's a good little bear crawler so he did awesome at this game!

Milk the Cow!

Nolan and his buddy Jordan.

This event was just craziness. Balls flying everywhere!

And they ended the day with Freeze Pops! Couldn't resist a selfie with my guy!

Then he was off to play and I headed home to get ready for my Kindergarten Celebration that afternoon.

Mark and Nolan prepping their Food Car for Science Day!

It turned out great! It had to be made of all food and skewers or toothpicks and it had to be able to roll down an incline.

I volunteered at Science Day too!
Marshmallow 5 Senses

Is black really black?

Static Electricity

Making Wood with his bud James.

Sink or Float?

Nolan and his friend Luke made very similar cars. They did the car races before I got there to volunteer so I didn't get to see them. But Nolan was VERY excited to tell me that his car did great! He beat the two other cars in his heat! His rolled straight where others ended up veering off the course! His teachers told me that his car was awesome! So that made him super proud as well!

Nolan's class also read the book Flat Stanley for Social Studies. He sent his two Flat Stanleys off to Uncle T. & Auntie Laura in Oklahoma and Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, and Flobby in Chicago.
He was so proud to share them with his class when they were delivered in the mail to Mammoth Heights! They are now hanging in his closet at home! Thank you family for participating!

Spring Fling at Mammoth Heights!
Nolan sporting his Crazy Hat that he won from the fundraiser.

We had pizza, popcorn, shaved ice, and more! Too bad it started to storm and they had to take down the bouncy houses before we had a chance to bounce! But it was still a fun event to eat our way through.

Nolan's Kindergarten Field Trip to the ZOO! It was my last day of school so Mark volunteered to chaperone. Nolan was SO HAPPY his Daddy was coming with!
He was very excited to ride on the school bus for the first time!

There were so many parents chaperoning that Mark didn't have to take a group. So for the first part of the day he and Nolan did their own thing. They went to a bird show which Nolan LOVED!

After lunch they buddied up with some other parents and kids.
Nolan, Avery, Luke, and James

Nolan adores his Daddy!

Good friends.

Checking out the map on the bus ride home. This time they sat in the back of the bus which Nolan thought was so cool and extra bumpy!

That was a lot of fun in just one last week! We have loved Mammoth, Mrs. Stackley, and his sweet class!
