Auntie's Surprise Visit!

My sister got some time off of work and chose to spend it with us! So she planned a little surprise visit for the boys! We woke up early and drove out to the airport to get her. Nolan had school that morning so I just took Heath and Brooks with me in case her flight was delayed and we wouldn't get back in time to get Nolan to Kindergarten. I just told Heath that we had some errands to do. He didn't ask a single question until we got closer to the airport. He said, "Where are we going?" and "It looks like we are going to the airport." When we pulled in to get her he was so confused! Brooks flashed her a smile and Heath got shy. For like a second. Then he got silly! Trying to get her attention. They LOVE their Auntie! And Heath quickly knew he was about to have the BEST weekend! Huge smiles all the way home!

When we pulled up at home Nolan and Mark were still home manning our garage sale before school started! Nolan was super confused as well when he saw Auntie pop out of the car...
They were surprised and happy and so ready for some Auntie Time! Little do they understand what it takes to make it happen. They are so lucky to have so many people who love them so much and an Auntie who spends her time and money on them!

Nolan was thankful for some Auntie hugs before Field Day! Mark took him to school and then I met up with him at Field Day after that while Auntie, Heath, and Brooks manned the garage sale.

What a sister she is to sit at my garage sale for 8 hours that day! Love her!

Auntie always brings some fun goodies for the boys. Hatching eggs!
A few days later they hatched and grew into a crocodile, lizard, and dinosaur.

Later that night we went out for some yummy FroYo!

After eating, we were chatting when we turned around to see Heath eating toppings right off of a spoon straight from the container! That kid! It was so funny, and we were all laughing, but I felt like I really needed to discipline him since there were people around. We told the girl who was working and she came to switch the spoon, and possibly the peanut butter Captain Crunch too, and I took my crying 4 year old outside to calm down. He's just so impulsive sometimes. But he couldn't be cuter OR funnier!

Saturday was another day of the garage sale! Mallory helped watch the boys and make some sales. We did o.k. over all. I really don't mind doing them. I'm organized on the front end so the set up only took me about 2 hours. And then I just donated anything that didn't sell. I won't do one every year, but every couple of years it's nice to make a little summer fun cash!

After the garage sale it was time for Cohen's Super Hero 4th Birthday Party! The boys got dressed in their Super Hero gear and hung out until it was time to leave.

We headed out to the car to get ready to take off when the boys spotted something fun hanging from the mailbox.
Uncle Flobby saw this fun find on the show Shark Tank. And he knew the boys would love it! And they sure did!

Thank you Uncy Flobby for such a fun surprise! You have 3 boys who love you tons!

Mallory, Mark, and I got in on the Super Hero fun too!

The boys all had fun running around with Spidey the birthday boy!

Oma tried out Heathy's mask too!

Uncle Brad had some fun activities planned for the kiddos.
Heath's 1st Slip 'n Slide ride. I didn't bring suits for the boys so he borrowed an extra of Cohen's. They had never done one before because we don't have one and Daddy isn't too fond of what it does to the grass. But I think I'll have to purchase one this summer for another fun option instead of the pool.

A water balloon toss.

And then there were a few extras to have a little fight. Nolan came straight at me!

And Mark got Brad pretty good! Gave him a welt.

Silly String time...

The next day we had planned to go to the pool, but Auntie woke up really sick. She had a sinus infection and allergies. So we killed some time and played outside while she visited the Minute Clinic.
When she got home and we knew she was o.k. we headed to the pool to give her some peace and quiet while she took some medicine, rested, and recovered

That afternoon we just took it easy around the house and Mallory and I watched a lot of Full House

Since Mallory was home to watch the other boys, I enjoyed a nice walk to school on Monday morning with just my big guy.

While I was at Science Day with Nolan, Mallory took Heath and Brooks on a date to McDonalds.

They had the BEST time!

And they grabbed some ice cream for the way home too!

Lucky Ducks!

We didn't really have a ton of big plans since Nolan and I were still wrapping up school, but we enjoyed a lot of time just being together and playing with the boys.

Nolan also got to go on a date to 7-11 for Slurpies!

Nolan sure was ALL ABOUT his Auntie this weekend! Mommy and Daddy are chopped liver when she's around!

A little park fun!

And lunch out on Auntie's last day...
Nolan was eating like crazy! His whole meal, a pickle, mustard, and ONIONS! Three things he's never really enjoyed before! I just still can't get past the fact he was slurping down raw onions! Strange child!

Before Mallory left we were sure to take some sweet photos of her with the boys.
This one is just the cutest ever!

Brooks wasn't really into the pictures…this was the best I got of all three boys.

We LOOOOOOOOVE you Ti Ti!

Thanks for being the best sister and Auntie ever! We miss you every day! So hurry up and move out here would ya!
