Spring Break Saturday

I tracked off last Friday! Yay! I had this week off and I still have two more weeks! So even though Nolan is back at school, it is nice to have more time with the boys in the afternoons. I am looking forward to getting caught up on laundry, the To Do list, cleaning, and some T.V. too! The weather should be nice and we'll be able to spend more time outside, which will be great.

Last weekend we had beautiful weather as well. We woke up to a yummy French Toast and bacon breakfast made by Grandma. Then we had to say sad goodbyes to Auntie and Flob. They had to start their cross country drive back to Illinois so that they could return in time to spend Easter with Bob's family. We had such a fantastic week with them. They are both SO good to our kids and to Mark and I as well! They are fun, thoughtful, helpful, and loving! We can't wait for their next visit! And we miss them already! Thanks, you two, for such a memorable week!

After our goodbyes, we spent some time watching and playing with Cohen and Arie. After they got picked up, we enjoyed some fun in the sun!
The boys practiced t-ball. They love Daddy's bucket of balls!

This shot is fun! Do you see the ball flying though the air, just in front of the bucket?

And we chilled with G-ma!

Later that evening we headed to the Cherry Creek Mall to look for some new shoes for Nolan. The kid wears through his shoes in no time now. No more hand me downs for Heath and Brooks,  unfortunately.
The boys tried on some fun shades at Nordstrom. And we picked out new Crocs and Chucks for Nolan.

After shoe shopping, we hit up the play place.

It was a madhouse! But our kids didn't seem to notice or care. They had a blast climbing, sliding, and jumping! But my Mom, Mark, and I could not believe the way that some of the other kids were acting. Or more like, we couldn't believe the way that some adults were parenting! Kids were running crazy, pushing, punching, crying, knocking people down. There was even a boy running around without his shirt on. The Mall Security kept having to kick kids out. There were so many unsupervised children...it was nuts! But it made us so thankful that, for the most part {Oh, they have their moments, that's for sure!}, our boys are respectful, kind, and safe!

It was a nice day and a good start to my break.
