"It's Spring Break BABY!!!!"
We had a wonderful week of Spring Break! Nolan was off from school and Grandma, Auntie, and my sister's BF Bob came to visit. I, unfortunately, had to teach each afternoon, but we were still sure to pack our week with a lot of FUN!
They all arrived last Friday. Auntie and "Flob", as the boys like to call him, drove and Grandma flew. Auntie and Flob watched the boys while I worked that afternoon and picked up Grandma from the airport. As soon as Grandma got home, Mallory and Bob headed downtown for some weekend fun.
So we had Grandma to ourselves for a couple of days. And of course she brought a few little gifts along with her. These bunny ears were a hit!
We had the boys all dressed in some of our family's favorite NCAA team gear and they helped Daddy cheer on their teams during March Madness.
We watched basketball and went out to dinner at Which Wich? the first night. We just enjoyed being together.
And then, out of nowhere the stomach bug hit our house. And hit it hard! Nolan was up all night puking and Brooks threw up once too. It was a miserable night! And Nolan was down for the count for a couple of days.
He had to miss soccer on Saturday morning. He stayed home with me and we cuddled on the couch while Daddy and Grandma took Heath to his practice.
Heath enjoying a little after soccer treat from Grandma- chocolate pudding! Thankfully, he managed to stay healthy!
Grandma stayed home with Nolan on Palm Sunday, while Mark and I took the little boys to church.
They both looked so cute as they participated in the Palm Sunday parade.
"Jesus is King!"
By Sunday afternoon, after a lot of napping, Nolan was feeling mostly better and up for playing some Legos with Grandma.
It was a rough couple of days, but we were SO thankful to have family here to help in a yucky time like this!
Many more Spring Break posts to come!
