Hangin' Around

This post is jammed full of random pictures that I took on my iPhone throughout the week. What would I do without my iPhone? My poor camera very rarely makes an appearance these days!
Grandma re built a pretty awesome train track this week! The boys had fun playing with it. The tracks don't usually stay in place for very long with a 3 boy wrecking crew, so when we actually take the time to build a full track, it's always a hit. (Love Auntie's photo bomb in this one!)

Heath is the kind of kid who always needs people to play with him. So having so many willing playmates this week was heavenly for him! Here they are playing Guess Who. Heath does a pretty good job on his own, but needs a little help. He always chooses the same animal first- a cat of course! And always asks, "Does your animal have pink in his ears?" Silly guy!

Auntie brought the guys one of our favorite books from when we were little- Wacky Wednesday! They LOVED it! Auntie and Grandma read it many, many times this week!

Nolan and Auntie grew a brain this week!

Nolan loves a good Science experiment! He got to put in the "bloody water tablet"! Ha! It is growing, but very slowly! Over the course of the week it has probably become about an inch bigger. But you are supposed to let it grow for 2 weeks. So we'll see how much bigger it gets, if any.

Another great "Grandma Activity" is Playdough. She is patient, creative, and a good cleaner upper! So Playdough is right up her alley! (Don't mind "Naked Nolan" in these photos, the kid wouldn't wear any clothes if we'd let him! Ha! But he actually really likes to be "like Daddy"- p.j. pants and no shirt.)

Booby Trap! Auntie and the boys made one in our old house and they had so much fun with it that they wanted to do it again.

They boys loved the big booby trap, but it was kind of in the way. So Bob built them a smaller one that they played with their Ninja Turtles in! They thought this one was equally as cool!

Auntie smooches!

The weather was snowy and freezing when they arrived, but throughout the week got warmer and sunnier. And we even got a little outside time every once in awhile.

Grandma bought the boys some new puzzles. And everyone got into the fun!

Mallory and Bob had a "puzzle off"! Mallory smoked Bob both times!

It wouldn't be a visit from Grandma without a trip to Jo Ann's! We always find some sort of project to do!

Auntie brought along some silly string again! The boys were so excited to do it!
But then when we started they weren't that into it! Ha! You never know with kids. (And yes, Nolan's shoes are on the wrong feet. I'm learning to pick my battles!)

They were kind of hard for them to spray on their own. But us adults had fun anyways!

Then it was time for another fav- bottle rockets!
Heath wanted to sport some protective gear! Ha!

Nolan LOVED this activity! They did about 4 bottles I think! Put the Mentos in, pull the string, the Mentos drop, and then it explodes!

Bob liked the minty diet cola afterwards!

Glow Bath!

Wow! That was a lot! A lot of fun just hanging out. And there's still more to come!
