Here are a bunch of random pictures from our Christmas vacation.
The boys love riding the train at DIA.
Waiting anxiously for our airplane to arrive.
Watching movies on the plane. These boys are EXPERT travelers!
We had an easy day of travel and the boys were SO SO SO EXCITED to see our family. When we got to the baggage area, they spotted Grandpa first. They ran so fast into his arms. It was just about the sweetest thing EVER!
On our first full day, Mark, Nolan, Grandpa, and Uncle T. went to Evanston for a Northwestern basketball game.
It was fun for Nolan to be able to have some big boy time with these important guys in his life! He learned that the Wildcats are purple just like the Rockies. His favorite player was number 22, but he sat on the bench a lot, "because he is young". I hope there will be many more basketball games like this in my boys' future, just like Uncle T. and Grandpa did when my brother was growing up.
That evening Mark and I had a nice evening out with the Lius so the Johnson family babysat the boys.
Uncle T. and Brooks played catch.
Nolan and Heath helped Grandma bake cookies.
And Kerri and I snapped this adorable picture in front of her neighbors house who has an incredible light display set to music.
Our trip was the perfect balance of lazy and crazy.
Boy Huddle!
We did a lot of lounging around the house in our p.j.s.
This kid almost always has a ball in his hands. Here he is sporting Grandpa's infamous red hat.
The boys got these fun head lamps in their stockings from Grandma & Grandpa.
They wore them a lot! Here Heath is crawling in the Tupperware cabinet just like his Auntie used to do when she was little.
And here they both are torturing, I mean, trying to find Griffin the cat. They LOVE this cat and just want it to play with him, but unfortunately, Griffin wants NOTHING to do with them!
One day we went to Grandma's school to play.
The boys had fun running around in the gym that Mommy used to play basketball (Why yes, I did play basketball! Ha!) and cheer in!
Shooting hoops!
And they played in Grandma's classroom for awhile too!
Watching a new Veggie Tales DVD...I love that my boys enjoy these movies. They have great messages!
My Mom continued the tradition of "Grandma dates" with the boys. She took Nolan to Barnes & Noble, KMart, and Meijer. He came home with this Darth Vadar and lots of stories about what he and Grandma talked about.
Heath and Grandma went to Panera and Meijer. He got a cookie and this web slinging Spider Man. My Mom said they were both so well behaved and definitely know all of Mommy's rules!
Silly Christmas Photo Fun!
Whenever we are home we make sure to stop by Streamwood Florist.
The boys love checking out all of the stuffed animals.
Soo & Ik love seeing the boys!
The kids play while we chat and catch up on life. Soo & Ik will always have such a special place in my heart. I could not have asked for a better first job!
Heathy trying to spot Daddy in the cooler! Still to this day, there is no smell better, than that of Streamwood Florist. Love it!
Mallory, Soo-ja, and I smiling!
Grandpa and Nolan napping together!
A rare photo of Griffin actually allowing Heath to pet him. The boys got quite used to Griffin hissing in their faces. But they were never afraid and never backed away! Ha!
Grandma planned a bunch of fun little activities for Nolan to do while we were there. B for Baby Jesus.
We always have to have a Wii night too!
Laura and Tyler dancing to Criss Cross will make you Jump Jump!
Mark and I singing "I've had the time of my life"!
We got Glee Karaoke and Just Dance for Christmas! We are excited to have these at our house now!
Uncle T. with Brooksie in the birthday gift he got him.
The boys played this game a lot...
And finally...
A birthday shout out to my great Aunt Paula! Happy 90th!
