the nursery

I realized that I never posted any photos of Brooks' remodeled nursery! We've been lucky enough to have 3 boys so with the birth of each one, we've just changed the theme of their room and have been able to keep the paint color and crib bedding! Good thing because Mark and I can not stand painting and our PBK bedding cost a pretty penny! We've gotten good use out of it for sure! Here are some pics of the nursery, but of course I had to throw in a few snapshots of the cute boy who lives in this room!

Gotta love those big baby blues!

I found these tin letters at Hobby Lobby.

rockin' a hoodie

The letters look great above the crib and fill the space well. And even after 4 years I am still in LOVE with the striped quilt and bumper. I would still choose it today, it's just simple and classic with subtle colors.

The wall color is a slate grey and Mark put up the white bead board. Nolan had a sports theme. Heath's theme was transportation. And we have a vintage golf theme going for Brooks. I love the black metal golfer silhouette! Pretty cool.

hangin' out in his crib

A few golf items: photos, balls, and tees resting on the shelves. Then I made the 'B is for Brooks' print. It says the meaning of his name on the bottom: {residing near the stream}. I also incorporated a few things with the number 3 on them- the third boy! My parents bought each child a pair of little wooden shoes from Holland, Michigan. A little shout out to their Dad's Dutch roots and a little nostalgia for us Johnson kids since we all got wooden shoes with our names on them when we were little. Since my Dad grew up pretty close to Holland we got them there when we were born, even though we aren't Dutch.

There it is! Pretty sure this cute little guy likes it. He's still sleeping in the pack 'n play next to our bed, but since he's such a good sleeper, he just might graduate to the crib pretty soon!

We are SO thankful that he has been such an easy going, happy, content baby- eating and sleeping awesome! Praying it continues!
