2nd Grade!

This year Nolan Bradley is in 2nd Grade!
His classroom is called the Primary Innovation Studio! His class will do a lot of inventing, investigating, creative projects, and STEM type learning. It has already been a super fun start! And just look at his classroom! It's beautiful!

Showing off his # 12 notebook…decorated with ORANGE, his current favorite color. We took these pictures during his Meet & Greet back in August.

We brought his teacher, Mrs. Littrell, a fun little gift to get the year started off WRITE!
Such a handsome young man!

And of course, I always have a little gift for the boys on their first day as well...

He was SO excited to wake up and find these fun things at the breakfast table!

And he was SO excited to start 2nd Grade!

He has quite a few kids from his class last year, in his class this year! And he is pumped to have his best bud Jayden in Mrs. Littrell's class as well.

Another fun perk this year…having Heath at Mammoth as well. I love knowing that my 2 guys are in the same place all day, every day! They like seeing each other in the halls from time to time too! I thought this picture turned out just too cute for words! Love the verse behind them as they enter into a new school year! They are best buds and I CAN NOT wait to see what their future holds! I pray that they will always do life side by side, cheering each other on, and shining for Jesus!

Ready to go!

And of course, a shot with his teacher!

The first few weeks have been pretty good. Fun stories from their days at school, homework, and some after school clubs: Lego Club & Spanish Club! (And choir at church on the weekends.)
Here are a few fun projects Nolan has done so far in 2nd grade. I snapped some pictures of them while in his classroom for Back to School Night.

We made this "paper doll" for an at home assignment. They needed it to look like them and represent them. We printed out his picture for his head. And then Nolan chose, a baseball, the Broncos, and Lego Luke Skywalker. He also chose an orange and blue outfit and colored his shoes to look like his Nikes.
Then he wrote this little blurb about himself at school to go with it. I love the line, "I am friendful." Too cute.

Nolan and Jayden

 He still loves animals!

They read Charlotte's Web and then they had to write a word in a web to describe a friend, just like Charlotte did for Wilbur.
This is what Camden wrote about Nolan. What a fun idea.

We love Mammoth Heights, it's dedicated teachers and kind students! And we are so happy that our boys are safe and happy there! Here's to a great 2015-2016 school year!
