Sloothaak Spring Break

We were SO happy to have the Sloothaak family choose to spend part of their Spring Break with us out here in Colorado! We hadn't seen them since our time together in the Dells last July…so we were REALLY excited to have 5 full days to talk and laugh and play together! They had not been out to Colorado since just before we moved into our new house almost 3 years ago. So it was extra fun to show off our house that we now proudly call HOME! This post is just a bunch of random iPhone pics from our time together...

A little dark, but just having lunch together. We really enjoy just having meals together…it's these little things that we SO wish we could do together on a regular basis. 

One afternoon we spent some time at Family Sports Center when the weather was chilly and Rowan was, sadly, at home- sick. Both she, and later Brooks, ended up having a nasty tummy bug that took them out for about 24 hours.

I had to head back to school while they were still here, so one day Jill came in to my classroom with me! It was fun to have my fellow Kindergarten teacher friend with me for the day! I put her to work...
