Heath Tyler turns 5!

Heath had a great birthday and was loved and celebrated by so many people!

He started his birthday off with an early Lego present from the Krauth family, birthday donuts and cash from Oma & Opa, and cupcakes with his class.

I love that he picked out this cute scarecrow cupcake cake to share with his friends at Preschool. It was so Fall and festive! He was very proud of it.

He got to wear this adorable crown at school that day!

Since his real birthday was on the day of Tyler and Laura's wedding, we knew we would be super busy that day, so we celebrated early at T & L's new house with the whole Johnson fam.
Heath wanted a Batman Birthday, so I knew my family would be all about these Batman masks. I tried to plan a few special touches even though we weren't at home for his big day. I love this picture!

He got a new shirt to wear for the "party" as well.

He got a big Raphie and Dog Pound from Auntie and Flobby.

And my Mom wrote another one of her famous five year old books! She set the bar super high with Nolan's Moon and now has to keep up this tradition.

And Heath's book was perfect.
So sweet and such a priceless gift. Made even more special by it's amazing illustrator- my bestie since Kindergarten, Kerri Liu. Her illustrations are so charming.
Heath felt so special. He had been waiting for this and it was finally his turn! Thank you Grandma! You are wonderful.

Grandma & Grandpa also bought him some Mario guys.

And Uncle T. and Auntie Laura spoiled him with this giant TMNT blimp!
That, needless to say, we blew up when we got home! It's pretty cool!

The boys had so much fun playing with all of the new toys!

The morning of the wedding, November 22nd, Mark, Nolan, Brooks, and I also gave Heath a few gifts. We had to save a couple things for the real day.
No Birthday Chair this year, but some signs and cards to make it special anyways.

The gifts got a little crumpled on our road trip. oops!

Nolan picked out this Yoshi stuffed animal for Heath. He LOVES it!

And he also picked out these half shell heroes for Brooks to give to Heath.

And we gave him this "Planes Fire & Rescue" DVD. Perfect to watch on our drive home the next day. Mommy is smart like that.

Heath feasted on Sonic for lunch and was treated to quite the bash that night.
Uncle T. and Auntie Laura surprised Heath with a Batman Birthday cake in place of the traditional Southern Groom's Cake.

He COULD.NOT.WAIT to eat it! Love this pic my sister snapped of him patiently waiting to dig in.

He was THRILLED!

And he had the sweetest perma-smile on his face as the all of the guests sang to him. Love that kid!

Uncle Tyler has passed on his love of Batman to our boys. So it was the perfect birthday theme this year. What a neat way to celebrate his birthday! He will never forget this one! Thank you Tyler and Laura for making him feel so LOVED!

I think he enjoyed his cake! Two pieces later it looks like he was in a cake coma!

Heath Tyler…
You deserve all the special that this birthday was.
You are fun. You are feisty. You are love.
You shine bright.
And everyone at the wedding could see it!

Mommy & Daddy love you to pieces!
xoxo
