The weather on Sunday was perfect. We went to church, ran home to pack lunches, and then took a walk up to Mammoth's park. Mark is playing in a competitive basketball league on Monday nights. And after his first game last week, he was feeling out of shape. So he wanted to shoot some hoops while the boys ran around and played.
Nolan had fun showing us everything he does at recess.
On his full days at school he has 3 recesses- which he loves!
He runs around, climbs, plays "boys chase the girls", soccer, and kickball.

After playing for an hour, they ate their picnic lunches, and we walked home to cheer on the Broncos. This low key family day was just what Mama needed to feel better. I pretty much did not move from the couch all afternoon long. I'm still a little achy, but feeling rested and ready for another week at school. Thank goodness the boys only have one more week of school before their Fall Break! We are all in need of some downtime!
