Both of the boys had Pumpkin Farm Field Trips this year. Since I can't really take many extra days off this year due to our 2 family weddings, Mark volunteered to join Nolan and the 1st Grade classes for the day at Mile High Farms.
They got to ride the bus together again! One of every 1st Graders favorite parts of a field trip…the bus!
It was the perfect day!
Hay Ride
They learned all about how pumpkins grow and about the corn and crops and animals and machinery on the farm.
And there were some fun places to play and explore.

He even got to take home a pumpkin! He was so proud of it!

The next week, Heath's class went to Flat Acre Farms. The field trip was just for the morning, so I was able to join them! Brooks went to Oma & Opa's house so that I could spend some one on one time with my middle!
We started the day with some duck races!
We played until he could beat me. I won six races straight and then he finally beat me with the pumpkin duck on the 7th heat! That pink girly ducky was fast!
We had the best time exploring the farm together. Daddy went with him last year.

He told me all about the snake maze last year and couldn't wait to take me through it this year!
It was fun! He ran the whole way! I think it was his favorite part.
Then we hit up the corn maze!
Heath led the way...
until he was unsure we could make it back out! Lost in the corn! A few dead ends but we managed to make it out!
Next up was the hay bale maze!
He loves "blow ups"!
We found this cool gourd. We thought it looked like a snake.
We also took a hay ride with one of his buddies from his class last year.
While they waited for the ride they climbed and jumped!

It was a nice ride. We looked at pretty trees and noticed that we could see Target and Michaels from the farm! Heath thought that was so funny!
Next we hit up the bouncy area!
Heath and Brayden had a blast together!
Then he and his mom and sister joined us to play! Last year Heath wasn't a fan of the corn bins. But he loved them this year! He even found some in his clothes later in the day.
