Play Ball!

We had a bit of fun at the ball park during our week with the Sloothaaks! 

 We went to Mark's weekly softball game on Wednesday night. 

 The kids had fun running around the park. 

Mark's team needed an extra guy, so John filled in. It was fun cheering them on! 

Then, on Saturday evening we went downtown to a Rockies game! 

 The Sloothaaks at Coors Field! 

 Nolan had a blast dancing to all the fun music! 

 We sat in right field, right in the 90 degree sun. By about the 6th inning, all of the kids, well, except for Trey, were about melting down in the heat. After a couple of bathroom breaks (some "pee pee wall" or otherwise known as the urinal, for Heath), and some food, they were good to go for the rest of the night. 

 We had some Rocky Dogs! Yum!

 And put on our rally caps! 

 And cheered the Rockies on! 

 Nolan enjoyed using the Sloothaaks binoculars at many adventures throughout the week, but they sure came in handy during the game! 

 The Rockies lost, but we made some good memories! 

 

We even got treated to some fun fireworks after the game!

 The kids all loved them! Nolan's favorite were the white twisty ones and Heath liked the "blue" ones. Although, I'm not really sure there were any blue ones! Ha! It's just his favorite color right now.

It was a fun night out at the ball park. The boys are still talking about their night out in the city!
