Another JAM PACKED post of all the randoms from the month of June!
The boys have started playing catch together. It's the cutest thing.
Heath preparing breakfast one morning before Mark and I were up. What a sight to wake up to.
Two cute smiles and one stubborn boy before baseball practice one day!
Dentist appointments. All 3 this time! No cavities. Brooks wasn't too excited about the Dentist…until…he saw the prize drawer! He LOOOOOVED the prize drawer. But we got it done and he was all smiles and high fives by the time we left.
A little wii boxing on a rainy afternoon.
Puzzle time!
Scootin'
Nolan and his buddy Jacob playing at the pool.
Sun Bathing
My view…love that I can get a little relaxation in at the pool this summer!
We've been going hard and this little guy gets pooped out from time to time! Here he is sleeping on the couch before dinner!
My view from the treadmill as mark was doing a work out video on the laptop. Brooks apparently needed to be in on the action. Ha!
A sweet treat reward with my oldest for filling a row of stickers on his behavior and work chart! Loved my 1 on 1 time with him at Culvers!
This kid loves to lay out on his towel during Adult Swim!
The Leensvaarts joined us at the pool one Sunday.
We had fun swimming with our pals!
Ahhh! These boys have my heart!
Our neighbor sells sunglasses and gets them free from vendors, so in the past month, he has gifted both Heath and I with new Ray Bans! He looks pretty cool, doesn't he?!
Heath took this photo while Nolan and I were playing ball in the backyard one day.
And I found this one on my phone too! I like the reflection in his shades- Nolan up to bat and Brooks on the run! Ha!
All ready to watch the Blackhawks win the cup!
We got out every Blackhawks good luck charm we could find!
And we sent these pictures to Auntie and Flobby- who was holding his breath for about 3 hours! Ha!
Our good luck charms worked and the Blackhawks WON!
Stanley Cup Champions!
Doing a little bike riding.
Game playing. Love his focus in this pic.
Killing time during a rainy baseball practice.
What a cutie he is!
Such a cool dude.
We sent this picture to Auntie one day. She detests spiders, but Nolan LOVES creepy crawlies and is constantly picking them up! I call this a Daddy Long Legs, but he corrected me and told me that Mr. G. told him it is called a Garden Spider.
The Vogels were in town!
We spent a fun evening with them swimming, eating, laughing, and playing! We LOVE when they visit and hope they move here SOON!
A little park fun!
Oma and Opa came to Nolan's 8:15 p.m. baseball game last weekend. Then we treated them to some Sonic for dessert afterwards. It was a nice summer night…baseball and ice cream…what more could you want?
The next morning we woke the boys up bright and early for a community Hot Air Balloon event up at our park.
We got up at 5:30 a.m. and waited in line for a looooooong time,
to go up and down in a Hot Air Balloon!
It wasn't a long ride and was tethered the whole time, but it was a fun experience for the boys to see how a Hot Air Balloon works and to fly up in the basket!
After our ride we went out for coffee and donuts.
And then we saw Inside Out! A cute movie but a tear jerker!
We love the fabulous perks of Mark's job!
And finally, not the best picture, but I can't resist Nolan in his practice clothes! He is loving baseball! (When we have it! Another practice cancelled when we got to the field due to tornado warnings, lightening, and rain! Boo!)
