A Super Long Post...It's Been Too Long!

I don't know how many times I've blogged about being busy! But here we go again! I haven't had a chance to sit down and get the blog caught up on what we've been up to. And when I have had a free evening, I just haven't wanted to spend my time on the computer! We've been in our normal routine of work, daycare with Oma and Vickie, and jam packed nights of playing with and caring for Nolan! School is good for me, just gearing up for assessments, report cards, and conferences. Only 4 more weeks until I track off again! Woo hoo! Mark has also been really busy with events for work at night and on the weekends, choir practice, coaching baseball at DC, and squeezing in a few days of snow boarding! And Nolan has been working hard at his exercises as well!

We have had two "baby boot camp" sessions with Miss Christie! It has been wonderful! She has given us so many ideas of how to help Nolan through everyday activities, games to play, positions to sit and play and read in, etc. And after just 2 weeks of practicing, Nolan is making awesome progress. He is much more comfortable being on his hands and knees due to the exercises strengthening his core muscles! He is transitioning between laying, sitting, kneeling, and scooching with greater ease! He still isn't crawling, but he is SUPER close! We are extremely comforted knowing that we are doing all that we can to help our big guy!

In the midst of all the running around we have managed to fit in a little time for fun! Check out the pictures to see what we've been up to! Nolan is still fighting off a small ear infection and feverish week and Mark seems to be coming down with something now. So, this weekend we are actually looking forward to some down time! No big plans for us! Actually, our evening tonight consisted of grocery shopping at Walmart, McDonalds for dinner, and an early bed time. A much needed lazy night!

*** Our first trip to the Denver Zoo with Nolan! We aren't sure what he liked better- the animals or all the pretty girls to wave to and the fun boys to jabber with! Here's Nolan doing something that he loves- pointing and yaking away at whatever he sees!

Getting So Big!

Loving the Komodo Dragon!

*** The stairs are a fun new place to play! They are great for a lot of different exercises!

*** Sporting his Bears jersey on Super Bowl Sunday- we had a few good friends over for some yummy food and a good game. (Sorry about his expression- it's just so hard to get a nice picture of him these days! He so does not like to pose for the camera!)

Okay, we just finished watching that video like 12 times in a row. Trey kept saying "big tiger" and wanting to see it over and over again! I think that the next time we visit we'll have to take a trip to the zoo!! :)

Nolan and the ladies...just like his daddy! Love his spike hair bath picture. We'll have to go to the pool to work on Nolan's core strenght in the water! Thanks for the catch up post.
