My Mom & Dad came out for Spring Break. Nolan and Heath had 2 weeks off, so during their first week off my Mom & Dad watched them while I was at school. My Mom flew out a few days early and Heath made her this creation to welcome her back to Colorado.
My Dad took the train and arrived early Sunday morning.
We all headed over to Mal & Bob's to be his welcoming crew!
Then we headed downtown for a day of fun!
We had lunch at Jimmy Johns.
And then headed over to the Convention Center for the Car Show. (Like the rando photo bombing in the background?!)
While we were waiting for tickets Brooks gave Grandma a back rub.
Then we headed in...
The boys LOVED hopping in and out of cars, pretending to drive, listening to music, and checking out the features.
They took turns driving and going for a "ride".
I can just picture them behind the wheel WAY TOO SOON!
This picture cracks me up…the way Heath is hanging out the window with his hand on the wheel.
They thought this Rockies truck was WAY cool!
Little one trying to escape!
Checking them out from the sun roof!
Road RAGE!
Dancing in the back of a truck!
Everybody pile in!
Heath loved getting to hop on to this cycle!
Nolan's favorites were the convertibles! Brooks had to try to look tough in all the pictures.
Standing under the steam.
Grandpa checking out the Mini Coopers with the boys. His favorite!
Brooks hitchin' a ride!
More dancing…
Peek-a-Boo! I see you Nolan!
Mal & Bob, Mark, Grandma, and Heath waited in line to take Jeep rides! Grandpa, Nolan, Brooks, and I watched them come around the adventure track and took videos as they pulled in to the finish.
A pic from inside the Jeep!
Nolan thought it was cool to pop his head out of the sun roofs!
And he was the only one brave enough to meet the KIA mouse!
Heath preferred the card board cut out kind!
And then there was this...
Wrestling...
Rough Housing…always crazy around here!
On the way out we spotted Mommy's favorite car...
The Corvette!
If I ever win the lotto- I want a Corvette!
It was a beautiful day, so of course we played outside a bit on the way back to our car.
It was a very FUN first day with the Johnson Fam! We missed you T & L!

I've never been to a car show. Looks like fun with all the fancy cars! But, mostly , with the FUN Johnson clan! Glad you enjoyed some time together over Spring Break!
Good times!
