This sweet thang turned SIX this year! How can it be?!
He started out the festivities by bringing cupcakes for his classmates the Friday before.
He picked out just what he wanted and had fun celebrating in his classroom.
He told me that he wanted a basketball themed birthday this year! So he woke up on November 22nd and found his new Nuggets t-shirt and his fun birthday chair too! He was grinning from ear to ear and so happy to have a day dedicated to HIM!
His birthday was on a Sunday, so on our way to church, Mark and I did our usual Starbucks run and treated the Birthday Boy to a hot chocolate too!
After church we had Mallory & Bob and Oma & Opa over to watch the Broncos game and celebrate our new 6 year old!
He requested pizza for lunch.

After we ate, it was time for his BIRTHDAY CHAIR! He was more than ready after having to wait for HOURS all morning.
The first present was from his brothers- packs of Basketball Tiny Teammates.
Oma & Opa gave him $6 and
a new flashlight and some Skittles and a basketball bank.
Then he got a Mine Craft Lego set from Mommy & Daddy!
The Sloothaaks sent a package too!
Trey's favorite football…which is now also my boys' favorite football!
Auntie & Flobby gave him a Jurassic World play set!
His last present was from Grandma & Grandpa! So we Skyped them to open it!
He was thrilled with his new Razor! The footboard even lights up!
And of course, he already got his Pluto stuffed animal as a birthday gift from Uncle T. and Auntie Laura. He was all set with lots of fun new things!
Now it was time for CAKE!
Heath went with me to Target one day and picked out the exact cake he wanted! He was very proud of it!

We have NO IDEA where he got that whole clap the candles out thing! Silly boy!

Later that night, Mark made fancy pancakes for us all for dinner.
They were delish!

That weekend we planned to take Cohen and Landon to the movies to see The Good Dinosaur for a little birthday party for Heath. Nolan did that with 2 friends last year and Heath has wanted to do it ever since.

After presents, they were ready to take off to the movie.
But we had a little favor for them too!

Heath loves the Southlands theater because the seats are recliners and super comfortable!
They got pop and candy and popcorn and enjoyed the movie!
And apparently when you are six, throwing peace signs is the thing to do! Ha!
After the movie they came back to the house for a little pumpkin pie treat! Heath really loved this special time with just his cousins…no brothers allowed!
And we really loved celebrating him!

That Heath sure is a handsome little thing!! Love him in the Pluto hat! So glad your boys like the football -- of all the footballs we have, that one gets used the most! And how fun that he got to have a little cousin outing. All those boys in your life are just adorable! LOVE!
